Texas Instruments Presents Blaze Tablet


A company called Texas Instruments recently presented its latest gadget - a tablet called Blaze.



The company's new device includes a 1GHz OMAP4 chip, which is meant to increase software compatibility.



The tablet boasts a 10.4-inch XVGA LCD multitouch display, with a 1024 x 768 resolution that features a cellular modem, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and FM connectivity. There's also HDMI, SD card and USB ports for connectivity.



In addition, the Blaze tablet has multiple external camera modules and an external DLP pico-projector. You may also find 1GB RAM and 32GB flash memory.



It is worth mentioning that the tablet includes an accelerometer and gyroscope to provide an unforgettable gaming experience.



If you want to be the owner of one of such tablets you will need to wait until August. Currently the company did not provide any details regarding the pricing.

Cisco Presents New Business Tablet PC Powered by Android



Cisco decided to launch its new business tablet PC running Google's Android.



Weighting only 1.15lbs, the company's device is called Cius and it supports telepresence interoperability, HD video, multi-party conferencing, email, messaging, browsing and more.



The new tablet PC from Cisco will also provide a number of new features for corporate users, at the same time allowing businesses take part in the expanding Android market.



"Through virtual desktop integration, the Cius [provides] flexible computing options with Cloud-based services that [offer] a compelling alternative to today's PC-on-every-desktop paradigm," stated the electronics giant in an official statement.



Other technical specifications:



- 720p HD camera installed at the front, having a 30fps refresh rate;

- 5Mp rear facing camera, offering VGA quality video and capturing still pictures;

- Dual noise-canceling microphones for audio conferencing;

- 7-inch, high-res widescreen super VGA touch-target display;

- accelerometer;

- 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and 4G;

- Bluetooth/Micro-USB;

- detachable battery able to hold for 8 hours;

Germany's Sterrix Technologies Builds OLED 3D Auto Stereoscopic Display



Today a lot of tech companies are preparing to launch 3D displays, but Sterrix Technologies, a company based in Germany, went even further. It filed a series of patent for 3D auto stereoscopic display based on the OLED technology.



It is worth mentioning that the images shown on this display have a resolution 100 times higher than the high-definition images. In addition, you can view the images without special 3D glasses.



Sterrix Technologies' 3D OLED auto stereoscopic display generates over 100 perspectives, having 1,000 inline processors (cores). Thus it allows a person to observe accurate 3D images from virtually any angle and from any distance.



In order to provide a more relaxing 3D viewing, the display will make use of new pixel structure with colored pixels, with pixels being adjusted to the anatomy of the human eye. Thus the new pixel technology helps in the formation of special picture in the human brain.



Currently the German company is working on the creation of prototypes of its 3D OLED auto stereoscopic displays.

The popular secondary display company called Mimo has recently presented its latest gadget - a USB monitor called iMo Monster. It is worth mentioning that among other touchscreen monitors from Mimo, this is now the largest in the company's submonitor class.



The company's new device has a 10-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 1,024 x 600 resolution panel.



Mimo's device weights only 1.77 pounds. It also supports both Windows and Mac OS X platforms.



In addition, through USB connection you can recharge the monitor and easily connect other devices to it. Thus there will be no need for additional VGA cables or video cards.



The iMo Monster also features a stylus and a 4.5-inch USB 2.0 cable. Mimo's gadget provides sharp graphics and a wide range of business applications.

Sony Launches NEX-VG10

Sony Launches NEX-VG10 - World's First High-Def Camcorder with Interchangeable Lens


Recently the tech giant Sony presented its latest device called NEX-VG10, which the company claims is the first interchangeable lens HD camcorder in the world.



Besides being the world's first consumer camcorder that boasts interchangeable lenses, the device is the first of its kind to include an extra-large Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor (the same used in the Sony a NEX-5 and Sony NEX-3 digital cameras).



The Sony NEX-VG10 also supports high-grade "E-mount" series of lenses used for video shooting with silent operation. It is worth mentioning that these lenses are smaller and lighter. The new camcorder from Sony is also compatible with "A-mount" interchangeable lenses.



Due to the fact that the Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor is mounted together with Sony's powerful BIONZ processor, the user obtains a tool able to shoot 14 megapixel still images and high-resolution video.



It would be interesting to note that the Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor is 19.5 times bigger than other sensors currently used in conventional camcorders. Thus videographers can obtain cinematic results with striking background defocus.



With Sony NEX-VG10 it is also possible to make DSLR-quality images using such features as Auto HDR, Handheld Twilight, and Anti Motion Blur. Besides, users can catch a fast action sequence at a nonstop burst rate of up to 7 frames per second.



The Sony NEX-VG10 is able to make full 1920x1080 HD videos at up to 24Mbps for stunning clarity and detail, which is perfect for recording on to Blu-ray DiscTM media. The camcorder comes with an E-mount 18-200mm lens, which allows shooting video using an 11x optical zoom.
